are an international community living and studying within the Tibetan Buddhist
Tradition. Whether you are looking for unique study and practice opportunities

Situated in the quiet fields at the foot of the spectacular Dhauladar Range
in Sidhpur, India, we are close to significant
teachers from all four Buddhist lineages, including His Holiness the Dalai Lama
and His Holiness Gyalwa Karmapa. Living in this area provides you with
opportunities to participate in a whole calendar of Buddhist events.
Although Thosamling is primarily a nunnery its ability to survive and proper is
dependent on a strong and vibrant international community of Dharma
